Day Of The Dead Corkscrew

The “Dia de los Muertos”, or “Day of the Dead” is a holiday celebrated in Mexico to honor the lives of loved ones who have passed, with food and drink. The skeleton is a central image used in decorations for the holiday, and our Day of The Dead corkscrew is inpired by this fantastical and reverent holiday. Designed by Ariel Rojo and Stephanie Suarez for the Kikkerland Mexico Design Challenge, this zinc alloy and stainless steel corkscrew is as whimsical as it is functional.
